Looking for an original weekend or holiday outing? At Kamelenmelkerij Smits, you will experience a unique camel outing full of adventure, education, and fun for the whole family, group of friends, or smaller groups. Meet our camels up close, learn about their behavior, and discover how a real camel farm operates.

During your visit, your adventure begins with an interactive presentation. While enjoying coffee, tea, lemonade, and a slice of cake, you will learn all about the care, nutrition, and temperament of our camels. Children and adults alike find it fascinating to see how these special animals live and what goes into running a camel dairy. A visit to the farm is not only fun but also educational. It combines enjoyment with knowledge about nature, animal welfare, and the unique properties of camel milk.

After the presentation, it is time to meet the animals up close. During the camel outing on the weekend or during holidays, you can pet and feed the camels and view the inside of their stable. For the adventurous, there is even the opportunity to ride a camel and experience what it feels like to sit on such an imposing animal. Small children can bottle-feed a calf, which is always a great success and creates unforgettable memories. These interactive activities make the camel outing both educational and fun. It gives children and adults the chance to connect directly with nature.

Our camel safaris take place every other Sunday. During school holidays, safaris are also organized on Mondays and Fridays. Our camel adventure takes place every other Saturday. Both outings are perfect for smaller groups. If necessary, we combine groups so that everyone can participate in a fun and interactive experience. For larger groups seeking a private experience, we also offer educational excursions and tailor-made group safaris. This allows you to visit at a different time on a weekend and enjoy a unique camel outing entirely at your own pace.
