No worries about MERS at our camel dairy

Since May 14 2014, there is some commotion about the MERS-virus that might be transmitted through camels on people. This involves camels in Arabian countries, contaminated by bats.
Therefore we, Camel dairy Smits, wanted to point out there is absolutely no danger from our camels. These animals are NOT from Arabian countries, and never have had contact with it, due to European import restrictions. The animals we have, have all been tested for various diseases at time of purchase, which all are not found. Moreover, most of our camels are born on our farm in the Netherlands.
A few months ago, for control, we tested on the MERS virus done by the RIVM (National Institute for Public Health and the Environment). This has proved our animals to be free of this virus. As a result our milk and milkproducts can be consumed safely.
Because we are the only camel dairy which has been shown to MERS-free, we foresee a wave of orders from around the world for our camels milk products. We will try to provide our customers with enough milk, however you may be faced with a waiting time. For this we apologize in advance.
